NCP returns to acquisition trail with aim of expanding estate by over 100 car parks in the next three years

NCP, the UK’s largest car park operator and retailer, has announced that it is to adopt an aggressive three-year expansion plan with the aim of increasing its estate by over 100 new sites across key areas where the business sees growth potential.

The business is actively seeking to grow its property portfolio by taking on new leases, as well as operations and management contracts for existing and new car parks across a number of key areas.

car park management solutionsIn addition, NCP may expand through the purchase of new and existing car parks and land for the construction of new, wholly owned car park facilities from landowners, as well as seeking to acquire car parking businesses.

Following analysis of customer feedback NCP has identified a number of key areas across the North and Midlands including Newcastle, York, Stoke, Coventry, Liverpool, Chester and Preston where there is strong demand for NCP’s services. These, along with major commuter areas such as those across the M4, M5 and M3 corridors are key target areas.

In London, NCP is targeting key satellite towns and commuter areas outside of the congestion charging zone to build on its current portfolio for future expansion. Beyond England, NCP is also actively seeking sites in Belfast as well as in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Inverness.

To support this expansion plan, NCP has a dedicated Acquisition Team in place and has invested significant resources in building its internal property team.
