Shirley Lee of NCP, the UK’s biggest car park provider, was named the country’s best Frontline parking professional at the 2015 British Parking Awards. She faced tough competition from local authority and private providers, including Westminster City Council and NSL, to win the Frontline award.
The award celebrates excellent customer service, communication skills and community engagement, with Shirley recognised not just for her dedication, professionalism and unwavering attention to customer service, but for her humour, patience and no-nonsense attitude
NCP’s front line customer service assistants are the first point of contact for customers; providing assistance, advice, enforcement and community engagement, as well as being the public ‘face’ of the company.
Tristian Arnold, NCP’s Business Manager for City, Holborn and West End nominated Shirley:
The award is testament to her hard work and commitment to a role that is often challenging, and is thoroughly well deserved. From her very first day on the job, she has always shown a real commitment in providing a first class service to customers and colleagues alike. She takes the time to get to know the regular customers at every car park she has worked in, listens to their concerns and takes pride in her role. We couldn’t ask for a better representation of NCP and the work that we do.
